The 2024–25 season is the Toronto Maple Leafs’ 108th season and their ninth straight playoff appearance, the longest active streak after Boston missed the 2025 playoffs. Craig Berube replaced Sheldon Keefe as head coach on May 17, 2024, following a first-round exit. Auston Matthews was named the 26th captain on August 14, 2024, succeeding John Tavares. The Leafs also changed ECHL affiliates, moving from the Newfoundland Growlers to the Cincinnati Cyclones on July 3, 2024.

On April 2, 2025, the Maple Leafs clinched a playoff spot for the ninth straight year with a win over Florida. On April 15, they won the Atlantic Division with a 4–0 win over Buffalo, their first division title since 2000 and first in the realigned Atlantic. They beat Ottawa in six games in round one and will face Florida in round two.
