Paul Miller is a former professional basketball player, who serves as an Assistant Coach for the Indiana Fever as of August 2024. Miller began his college basketball career at Wichita State University from 2001 to 2006. Miller’s scoring and rebounding averages rose progressively during his college season, and he had his best season in his senior year when he led the Shockers to a regular season Missouri Valley Conference championship.

Miller, however, did not get drafted into the NBA in the 2006 NBA draft and thus began his professional career in Europe. He represented different clubs in Europe such as Germany, Poland, Russia, Turkey, and France. Some of the career achievements of the player are that he has played for Eisbären Bremerhaven in Germany (2006-2007) and JDA Dijon Basket in France (2012-2013). He later moved to the analyst’s bench and later joined the Indiana Fever as an Assistant coach in 2023.

Paul Miller was a basketball player for Wichita State University from the year 2001 to 2006. Miller also faced a problem of a broken foot during his freshman year but he bounced back and continued to play even harder. He was soon able to become a starter for the Shockers and he was named to the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) All-Freshman Team. Miller’s college performance gradually increased and he was noted for scoring, rebounding and defensive abilities. By the time he was a senior, he was even leading the team in points and rebounds, scoring an average of 13.1 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. He averaged a solid 10.9 points per game throughout his collegiate career. His solid play led Wichita State to the regular season MVC championship and a great run to the Sweet Sixteen in the 2006 NCAA Tournament.

Miller had his best season in his senior year where he was awarded the MVC Player of the Year and honorable mention All-American. Miller’s performance in college helped him secure playing time throughout Europe for his career in professional basketball.
