Making his way to the NFL. He was selected by the Oakland Raiders in the second round of the 2014 NFL draft, with the 36th overall pick. After a disappointing 2022 campaign, Derek moved to New Orleans Saints, signing a four-year $150 million contract that reunited him with his former head coach, Dennis Allen.
