The Clemson Tigers cornerback was named as a semi-finalist for the 2023 William V. Campbell Trophy. Jones never live up to the billing at Clemson as he concluded his Tigers career with 90 tackles and only three picks. In December 2023, he declared for the 2024 NFL Draft but missed participating in the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl due to migraines and a hip injury.
