Kenin first rose to fame after winning the 2020 Australian Open title, where she defeated then world No. 1 Ash Barty in the semifinal, and Garbine Muguruza in the final. This led me to the decision of parting ways with my dad. It does not necessarily mean we will not reunite in the future. The future remains uncertain. At the moment, I feel the need to allocate time for self-reflection, particular growth, and determining my path. ultimately, we will gauge what lies ahead."
