Staal's career highlights include winning the Stanley Cup with the Hurricanes in 2006, earning a spot on the NHL YoungStars Game in 2004, and multiple selections to the NHL All-Star Games (2007, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2020, and 2018). He was named the MVP of the 2008 All-Star Game.
