Kristopher Letang is a Canadian ice hockey defenceman and alternate captain for the Pittsburgh Penguins in the NHL. He was drafted 62nd overall by the Penguins in 2005 after playing three seasons in the QMJHL.

Letang became a regular in the Penguins' lineup in 2007–08, helping the team reach the Stanley Cup Finals. He won his first Stanley Cup with Pittsburgh in 2009, marking the start of a long and successful career with the team. He later added two more Stanley Cups, winning in 2016 and 2017. Internationally, Letang represented Canada at the World Junior Championships, capturing gold medals in 2006 and 2007 at the Under-20 level.
