Robert Thomas, born on July 2, 1999, is a Canadian professional ice hockey center and alternate captain for the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League (NHL). Hailing from Aurora, Ontario, Thomas began his major junior ice hockey career in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) after playing Bantam and AAA hockey with the York Simcoe Express. He spent three seasons in the OHL with the London Knights and Hamilton Bulldogs.

During his tenure with the Knights, Thomas secured the 2016 Memorial Cup as a rookie and was subsequently drafted in the first round, 20th overall, by the Blues in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. Thomas went on to make his NHL debut on October 4, 2018, against the Winnipeg Jets, marking the start of his NHL career. Throughout his rookie season, he appeared in 70 regular season games while contributing nine goals and 24 assists. Notably, as the youngest player on the Blues' roster, Thomas helped the team advance to the conference finals and contributed significantly to the team's Stanley Cup victory.
