Robert Thomas, born on July 2, 1999, is a Canadian professional ice hockey center and alternate captain for the St. Louis Blues in the National Hockey League (NHL). Hailing from Aurora, Ontario, Thomas began his hockey journey with the York Simcoe Express before moving on to the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), where he showcased his talents for the London Knights and Hamilton Bulldogs. Notably, he won the Memorial Cup with the Knights in 2016 and was also the winner of the J. Ross Robertson Cup twice during his OHL career.

Drafted by the Blues in the first round of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, Thomas made his NHL debut in October 2017 and scored his first goal a month later. Despite his youth, Thomas played a key role in the Blues' Stanley Cup victory in 2019. The subsequent years have been marked by multiple injuries Nonetheless, this hasn't stopped Thomas from scoring decisive goals and delivering important assists. His most remarkable time on the ice occurred during the 2021-22 season where he scored 20 goals alongside 57 assists. His most recent achievement includes making the NHL All-Star game in 2024. He was part of Team Mcdavid.

On the international stage, he has proudly represented Canada, earning gold medals at the 2015 World U17 Hockey Challenge and the 2018 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships.
