Travis Konecny is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward. As of February 2025, he serves as an alternate captain for the Philadelphia Flyers, who drafted him 24th overall in the first round of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. Konecny was born on March 11, 1997, in London, Ontario.

Konecny developed his passion for hockey by playing on frozen ponds and watching games on TV. His minor hockey journey began with the Chatham-Kent Cyclones, but he later attended the PEAC hockey academy and joined the Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs. He drew attention after scoring 114 points in the 2012–13 season, leading to his selection first overall by the Ottawa 67's in the 2013 OHL draft. After two and a half seasons with Ottawa, he was traded to the Sarnia Sting and competed for Canada in various international events.
