Alec Jacoby “Coby” White is a professional basketball player for the Chicago Bulls. He is 6 feet and 5 inches tall and was born on 16 February 2000 in Goldsboro, North Carolina. White plays at the Point Guard position and completed his high school at Greenfield School in Wilson, North Carolina. He was rated as a 5-star recruit coming out of high school according to ESPN, who also gave him a grade of 91. He also won North Carolina Mr. Basketball in 2018 and also won a nomination in the McDonald’s All-American game in the same year.

White attended and played for the University of North Carolina from 2018 to 2019, playing only one season before declaring for the NBA Draft. While in college, he averaged 16.1 points, 4.1 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game. He was picked by the Chicago Bulls with the seventh overall pick in the first round of the 2019 NBA Draft. He has been with them since he was drafted and averaged a solid 13.2 points, 2.7 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game in his first season for the Bulls. He has shown gradual improvement over the years as he achieved a career-best 19.1 points, 4.5 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game in the 2023-24 season, where he played 79 games and started in 78 of them.
