1) Sportskeeda is looking for an Assistant Content Manager - MMA
Overview:
You will be required to manage a team of writers and editors that publishes highly engaging sports content. We operate in a competitive environment where quality and being first to market are paramount. This team is our first and last line of defence, delivering on our brand promise that Sportskeeda is home to the most engaging and premium sports content. We expect the candidate to have extensive knowledge and understanding of MMA (particularly the UFC) and to spearhead our coverage.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, guide, and train a team of writers.
- Work with editors on a regular basis.
- Grow the UFC vertical to meet monthly session and pageview targets.
- Regular quality analysis of the content on the website. Regular Audit.
- Researching content on a daily basis
- Suggesting topics to writers on a daily basis
- Weekly schedule creation
Essential Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience covering MMA (preferably the UFC)
- Comfortable with managing a team of writers, assigning them work, staying on top of the news cycle
- MMA content writing and editing skills
- Ability to work independently and a proven track record of delivering results
- A fast learner with a positive outlook towards a target driven work culture

Sportskeeda is one of the largest sports content platforms in the world, connecting journalists, pundits, and experts with millions of sports readers every day. Writing at Sportskeeda is a great way to further your journalistic career in sports.
This role is for a MMA feature writer. The Sportskeeda MMA section is looking for writers to join on a contract basis, with a monthly target to meet in terms of article count. You would be working 5 days a week and 8 hour shifts.

This role is for a MMA Transcription Editor. You would be working 5 days a week and 8 hour shifts. Your main responsibility would involve transcribing all the interviews produced by Sportskeeda MMA and handling our weekly newsletter.

This role is for a MMA Content Executive. You would be working 5 days a week and 8 hour shifts. Your main responsibility would involve helping the shift in-charge source out newsworthy content.
You should be proficient in navigating through Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, Facebook and other social media platforms. You should also be plugged into the various podcasts and interview channels in MMA.

Fake news, sensationalism, plagiarism, and unreliable reports are increasing in frequency in sports and across the content industry. You will be quick on the foot and will be an expert in eliminating these landmines.
You will remain objective and yet have ideas to mentor and foster writers and drive positive change concerning quality.
This is a hands-on role and we need someone fast, accurate, and has strong judgement.
Responsibilities:
- The candidate will be expected to edit 350-400 articles per month.
- Meet quality targets for accuracy and speed and continually contribute to improving team performance.
- Exercise objectivity and display strong judgement skills in approving and rejecting topics.
Requirements:

7) Sportskeeda is looking for a ONE Championship Content Writer
Sportskeeda is one of the largest sports content platforms in the world, connecting journalists, pundits, and experts with millions of sports readers every day. Writing at Sportskeeda is a great way to further your journalistic career in sports.
This role is for a ONE Championship content writer. The Sportskeeda MMA section is looking for writers to join on a contract or freelance basis. We have vacancies for contract writers in 3 shifts that we’re looking to fill. Morning (9 am to 5 pm IST), Evening (5 pm to 1 am IST) and Night (1 am to 9 am IST).
We are also looking for freelance writers who will be able to keep their own times, but would have a monthly article target to meet.

8) Sportskeeda MMA is looking for a Digital Video Producer - MMA
The ideal candidate will have strong creative + management skills and a portfolio of work that demonstrates his/her passion for MMA.
Responsibilities
- Experience in producing video and video editing experience, with knowledge of Adobe Suite–including Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Media Encoder.
- Experience editing and mixing multiple tracks of audio, including voiceovers, music, and sound effects.
- Solid production experience, including camera, lighting, and sound.
- Demonstrated visual creativity and strong storytelling skills.
- Experience with project management, editorial execution, and decision-making.
- Demonstrated exceptional organizational skills and natural curiosity, particularly about technology.
- Proven ability to prioritize and gracefully handle complex, diverse stakeholders. Ability to handle the complexities of creating content for a technology company.
- Proven ability to anticipate and mitigate risk.
- Strong attention to detail.
Experience
- Extensive knowledge of MMA (UFC preferably) is a must!
- Experience creating video content that explains complex topics.
- Experience managing multiple projects at once and mitigating feedback from multiple stakeholders.
- Familiarity with creating content about Sports.
- Proven ability to think critically, plan, and execute resourcefully, both autonomously and as part of a broader distributed team.
- Experience in producing short videos with complex stories that require them to figure out the story and work with writers.
