Who are the Houston Gamblers’ key players?

Here are some of the few players that will be interesting to watch this season.

  • Round 1: Chase Brice, QB, Appalachian State

  • Round 2: Justin Ford, DB, Montana

  • Round 3: Joseph Fisher, G, Shepherd

  • Round 4: Scott Matlock, DT, Boise State

  • Round 5: Jeffery Johnson, DT, Oklahoma

  • Round 6: Keenan Isaac, DB, Alabama State

Keenan Isaac

Issac was one of the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl's stats, displaying the length and athleticism to make things difficult for receivers and quarterbacks alike. Because of the two aforementioned elite traits, he is able to close potentially open windows for the quarterback in the passing game while also shrinking space between himself and the football.

Chase Brice

He transferred a second time to Appalachian State, where he found his footing as a signal-caller and advanced his career. In 2022, the 25-year-old appeared in 12 games, completing 62.8 per cent of his passes for 2,921 yards and 27 touchdowns with six interceptions.

It’ll be exciting to see Chase on the field with his tremendous upside and the potential he has.

What is the Houston Gamblers' win-loss record?

The games for this season have not kicked off yet but will start by April.

Last season, they finished 4th with 3 wins and 7 losses.

Where can I watch Houston Gamblers games?

Fans can catch the games on USA Network, Fox, NBC, and Peacock.

Who is the owner of Houston Gamblers?

Earlier, the Houston Gamblers had two different owners during their existence in the USFL. The team was originally owned by businessman David Dixon, who was also one of the founders of the USFL. However, Dixon sold the team to a group of investors led by Jerry Argovitz before the start of the 1984 season. Argovitz, a Houston-based orthodontist, became the majority owner of the team and was known for his hands-on approach to running the franchise. Despite the team's success on the field, the Gamblers faced financial difficulties and folded along with the USFL after the 1985 season.

Now from 2022, the Gamblers and every other team in the USFL have the same owner, that is the National Spring Football League Enterprises Co, LLC, (Fox Sports.)

How much did the Houston Gamblers cost to purchase?

As mentioned earlier, all of the eight clubs are owned by one entity (Fox) and the total price to purchase all 8 teams were somewhere around $150-$200 Million.

Fox is also searching for outside investors to invest about $250 Million.
