Enes Kanter is a Turkish professional basketball player who plays a center for the New York Knicks of the NBA. He stands at 6 ft 11 in, Kanter was drafted third overall by the Utah Jazz in the 2011 NBA draft.
In his rookie season with the Jazz, Kanter made an appearance in every game and averaged 4.6 points and 4.2 rebounds in 66 games. His stats kept improving in every major statistical category in the following years at Utah.
On February 19, 2015, Kanter was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder, On April 6, he recorded a career-high 33 points and 20 rebounds in a 120–115 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers, becoming the first player in Thunder history to score at least 30 points and grab 20 rebounds in a game
On September 25, 2017, Kanter was traded to the New York Knicks, He recorded 32 double-doubles in a successful first season with the Knicks where he averaged 14.1 points and 11 rebounds per game.
Kanter had also earned MVP honors at the 2009 FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship where he led his country's junior team to a bronze medal.
