Cerundolo registered five wins against top-10 players in 2023, including defeating Jannik Sinner, Casper Ruud, Taylor Fritz and Felix Auger Aliassime. He is an aggressive player who is known for his massive forehand and reliable backhand. He won the 2024 Croatia Open, defeating Olympic bronze medalist Lorenzo Musetti in the final. Cerundolo recorded his 100th career win by upsetting top seed Andrey Rublev at the 2024 Paris Masters.
