The Czech teen sensation Linda Noskova stunned the tennis fraternity by eliminating former No. 1 Iga Swiatek at the 2024 Australian Open. She became the first teenage player since Amelie Mauresmo to defeat No. 1 at a major tournament. She reached her maiden quarterfinal after registering a win against Elina Svitolina in the fourth round. With her power-packed performance, she reached her career-high ranking of World No. 25 (current ranking) on August 26, 2024. Noskova's successful performance continued as she lifted her maiden WTA singles title at the 2024 Monterrey Open.

She defeated Lulu Sun by 7-6, 6-4 in the final. She finished semifinalist at the 2024 Prague Open, where she lost to Magda Linette. Former junior French Open winner, Noskova competes in the doubles category with a career-high ranking of No. 60. She finished semifinalist at the 2024 Paris Olympics with Karolina Muchova, losing to eventual gold medalist Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini. She has won six singles, and one doubles title on the ITF circuit. With her scribbled serve, Noskova's strengths include solid backhand and forehand, which she can hit from any angle of the court. She was nominated as the Most Improved Player by the WTA but lost to another teenage sensation, Mirra Andreeva.
