Corey Perry is a Canadian ice hockey right winger playing for the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League (NHL). Perry began his minor ice hockey career with the Peterborough Minor Petes and continued with the London Knights in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), where he was drafted fifth overall in 2001. He achieved significant success in his junior career by leading the Knights to an OHL championship and a Memorial Cup in 2005.

Corey began his NHL career with the Anaheim Ducks when he was selected 28th overall in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. He won the Stanley Cup with the Ducks in 2007, followed by securing top honors such as the Maurice "Rocket" Richard Trophy and the Hart Memorial Trophy in 2011 for being the most valuable player in the league and leading the league with goals. Over the years, he also earned four All-Star Game nominations while also making the NHL First All-Star Team twice. His 14-year stay with the Ducks came to a close in 2019. Since then, he has played for the Dallas Stars, Montreal Canadiens, Tampa Bay Lightning, and Chicago Blackhawks.
