Additionally, Gaglardi owns the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League and also sits on the ownership table of the Kamloops Blazers of the Western Hockey League. Nonetheless, Gaglardi is also the president of Northland Properties Corporation, the largest family-owned hospitality company in Canada, headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia.

He is deeply involved in various aspects of the family business, which includes a diverse portfolio ranging from hotels and restaurants to real estate development. Additionally, Gaglardi is an active member of the community, involved in charitable endeavors, and serving on the boards of several organizations. Nonetheless, the Dallas Stars haven been successful in claiming three conference championships ( 1998-99, 1999-00 and 2019-20) with an additional eight division championships.
