White Sox manager Rick Renteria hospitalised before game
Chicago White Sox manager Rick Renteria was taken to hospital prior to Monday's MLB game against the Minnesota Twins after feeling light-headed.
Renteria complained of being light-headed in the clubhouse and was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center for precautionary reasons.
The White Sox said tests revealed no problems as bench coach Joe McEwing served as manager for the game.
The 56-year-old Renteria is 113-172 in two seasons with the White Sox.
Renteria posted a 73-89 mark in one season as the Chicago Cubs manager in 2014.
