Spencer Rattler’s QB Analysis

Rattler's improvement as a quarterback is evident in almost all of his games. He is standing as one of the best quarterbacks in the SEC and is expected to move up the ladder and shine more next season. This is owing to the fact that some talent will be leaving the Southeastern Conference for the NFL Draft.

Rattler's diligence and improvement aided South Carolina’s success in the concluded season and this has secured him a place among the clique of elite college quarterbacks. He is a former five-star recruit, and with the growth he experienced in 2022, he should be one of the names to watch out for in the 2023 college football season.

Rattler sustained a hip injury on November 7 in a game against Kansas that ended with a win for Oklahoma.

Rattler was the favorite to win the Heisman Trophy in the 2021 season but he was benched for Caleb Williams and did not play for the rest of the season, Rattler will eventually leave Oklahoma for South Carolina, to play for South Carolina Gamecocks under Head Coach Shane Beamer, Beamer had formerly worked as an assistant coach with Rattler in Oklahoma.
