Dricus "Stillknocks" du Plessis is a mixed martial artist from Welkom, South Africa. Born on January 14, 1994, du Plessis fights at 185 pounds in the middleweight division and is a knockout artist. He comes in at 6'1" with a reach of 76 inches and fights in an orthodox stance, which most definitely makes him a difficult opponent to deal with inside the octagon. du Plessis started his professional career in MMA within the Extreme Fighting Championship (EFC), where he became the champion at middleweight and welterweight. He then moved to the Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki promotion, where in 2018, he captured the welterweight title after beating Roberto Soldic.

du Plessis moved to the UFC in 2020, where his first appearance was in October 2020, defeating Markus Perez. From there, du Plessis has gone on to notable victories over fighters such as Sean Strickland, Darren Till, Derek Brunson, and Robert Whittaker. As of February 2025, du Plessis holds a professional MMA record of 22 wins and 2 losses, with 9 of those wins by knockout and 11 by submission. His achievements include winning the UFC middleweight championship in January 2024 after defeating Sean Strickland. He is set to defend his title against Sean Stickland at UFC 312.
