Alexandre Pantoja is a leading professional mixed martial artist who competes in the flyweight division as a professional. A part of the leading professional mixed martial arts promotion, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), as of November 2024, Pantoja made his debut on the professional circuit in 2007. He took on Antonio Carlos in his debut professional showdown at Hikari Fight and submitted Carlos in the first round to kick off his career with a dominant win.

After his successful maiden outing to the cage, Alexandre Pantoja competed in different professional mixed martial arts promotions before making his way into the UFC. He was welcomed to the octagon by Eric Shelton on January 28, 2017, at UFC Fight Night: Shevchenko vs. Pena where he secured a hard-fought split decision win. Pantoja defeated Brandon Moreno at UFC 290 on July 8, 2023, to win the UFC flyweight championship. As of November 2024, Pantoja is ranked as the No. 11-ranked pound-for-pound fighter of the UFC in the promotion's men's pound-for-pound rankings.
