Alexandre Pantoja Passidomo, born on April 16, 1990, is a Brazilian mixed martial artist who competes in the UFC. He is a former flyweight champion in both the Resurrection Fighting Alliance and Shooto Brazil organizations. Pantoja is currently the UFC flyweight champion.
In May 2016, the UFC announced a season of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) featuring flyweight champions from different organizations. The winner would earn a shot at the flyweight title held by Demetrious Johnson. Alexandre Pantoja was part of Team Cejudo, coached by Joseph Benavidez and Henry Cejudo. Pantoja's first fight in the competition was against Brandon Moreno, whom he defeated by submission in the second round. He then faced Kai Kara-France in the quarterfinals, winning by unanimous decision. Pantoja advanced to the semifinals but was defeated by Hiromasa Ougikubo by a unanimous decision. Shortly after, it was announced that Pantoja had signed with the UFC.
