Miles Plumlee

Miles Christian Plumlee is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Atlanta Hawks of the NBA. He played college basketball at Duke University and as a sophomore was a part of Duke's 2010 national championship winning team. He is the older brother of fellow NBA players Mason Plumlee and Marshall Plumlee. Both brothers were also his former teammates throughout his college career at Duke.

After having a limited role in his freshman season, Plumlee earned the starting center position at the beginning of the 2009–10 season before returning to a bench role later in the season. Plumlee finished the championship winning season averaging 16.4 minutes, 4.9 rebounds and 5.2 points per game.

Miles played a similar role in his junior campaign, contributing solid offense and defense for the team in limited playing time. He finished the season averaging 17 minutes, 4.9 rebounds and 4.8 points per game. In his final season in 2011–12, Plumlee played the majority of the season off the bench and had a career season which included 7,1 rebounds per game.

Plumlee was drafted by the Indiana Pacers with the 26th pick in the 2012 NBA draft. Although he only played 55 minutes of basketball during his 1 year there.

On July 27, 2013, he was traded to the Phoenix Suns, He recorded a double-double in his first ever NBA start against the Portland Trail Blazers, Plumlee was named to the 2014 BBVA Rising Stars Challenge.

He also played for the Bucks,the Hornets, and the Hawks.
