The Czech professional tennis player Barbora Krejcikova was born on December 18, 1995. She achieved her career-high singles ranking of No. 2 in February 2022 and career-high doubles ranking of No. 1 in October 2018. Krejcikova has won seven Grand Slam doubles, three Grand Slam mixed doubles, and two Grand Slam singles titles in her career so far. All of her seven doubles titles came with Katerina Siniakova.

Barbora Krejcikova won all three of her mixed doubles grand slams at the Australian Open, along with Rajeev Ram in 2019 and 2021 and Nikola Mektić in 2020. Her singles career highlight was winning the 2021 French Open, where she defeated Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova in the final. She then beat Jasmine Paolini at the 2024 Wimbledon Championships to capture her second singles major. Along with Venus Williams, she is one of just two female athletes who are still competing and have triumphed in all three main divisions of singles, doubles, and mixed doubles.

Krejcikova finished quarterfinalist of the 2024 Eastbourne International and the semifinalist of the 2024 Stuttgart Open in the doubles category with Laura Siegemund. She reached the quarterfinal of the 2024 Birmingham Classic in a singles category, where she lost to Anastasia Potapova. Krejcikova and Siegemund finished finalists at the 2024 Madrid Open, losing to Cristina Bucsa and Sara Sorribes Tormo in the final.

Krejcikova has won eight singles titles and 19 doubles titles, as of late 2024. At the international level, she won the gold in doubles at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. She was also part of the Czech Republic team that won the 2018 Fed Cup. Coming to her playing style, Krejcikova has a perfect balance between aggression and defense. She can hit powerful groundstrokes, but also possesses a vicious slice that can cut through opposition.
