Tunisian tennis player Ons Jabeur achieved a career-high singles ranking of No. 2 in June 2022, and is ranked No. 10 by the WTA as of June 2024. She has won five WTA singles titles till date, including the 2023 Ningbo Open. In 2023, she also won the Charleston Open, where she defeated Belinda Bencic 7-6, 6-4 in the final.

Jabeur won her first WTA 1000 title at the Madrid Open in 2022, where she defeated Jessica Pegula in the final in three sets. She also reached the Grand Slam singles final three times in her career, twice in Wimbledon (2022, 2023) and once at the US Open (2022).

At the 2024 Madrid Open, she lost to Madison Keys in the quarterfinals. She made it to the 2024 French Open quarterfinals before falling to Coco Gauff, which was her best grand slam performance of the current season. Jabeur also advanced to the 2024 Grass Court Championship quarterfinals, giving a walkover to Coco Gauff.
