
James Monteinez Wiseman is an American professional basketball player who played in the NBA for the Indiana Pacers before being traded to the Toronto Raptors on February 6, 2025. He was, however, waived by the Raptors and is a free agent as of May 14, 2025. Before the NBA, Wiseman played college basketball for the Memphis Tigers, where he only appeared in three games. Wiseman scored 59 points and 32 rebounds combined in those three games. He was drafted with the second overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft by the Golden State Warriors. He made his NBA debut against the Brooklyn Nets on December 22, 2020, while putting up 19 points, six rebounds, and two steals.
While the first two seasons were difficult for Wiseman due to knee injuries, he helped the Warriors win their 7th championship in the 2021/22 season.
