WWE strangely being mentioned in stories about death of teenager
A 17-year old boy in India died after sustaining injuries during a street fight last week. Mohammed Nabeel collapsed after being beaten by another boy on May 3rd in Hyderabad while over a dozen spectators looked on.
Many major publications in India - including The Times of India, the largest English-language newspaper in the country - are oddly referring to the brawl as a "WWE-style street fight," even though cell phone footage of the fight doesn't show anything uniquely identifiable with WWE. India TV, The Deccan Herald, The Asian Age, Metro.co.uk, NDTV, The Bangalore Mirror and The Hindustan Times are amongst the major media outlets referring to the brawl as a "WWE-style" or "WWE-inspired" fight.
Seven people were arrested for the fight and an investigation has been launched into the case.
