
Joshua Aaron Hart (known as Josh Hart) is an American professional basketball player who plays as a shooting guard for the New York Knicks as of May 2025. He was selected 30th overall in the 2017 NBA Draft by the Utah Jazz but soon he was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. Hart spent the first two seasons of his career at the Lakers but was then traded to the New Orleans Pelicans in the Anthony Davis trade.
Hart was born on March 6, 1995, in Silver Spring, Michigan. Before the NBA, Hart had an amazing four-year college career at Villanova, where he was named Big East Tournament Most Outstanding Player.
