William Culvahouse Hardy is a former basketball player, and as of November 2024, the head coach of the Utah Jazz in the NBA. Born and raised in Richmond, he attended St. Christopher’s School and later earned his degree from Williams College as per his NBCA profile. Hardy began his coaching career as an operations intern for the San Antonio Spurs in 2010, was promoted to assistant video coordinator in 2011, and later became an assistant coach for the Spurs. He also served as an assistant coach of the Boston Celtics.

For the 2024-25 NBA season, he is reportedly earning an estimated $4 million, as noted by Front Office Sports. As of November 2024, Hardy is in his third season with the Jazz, holding a record of 68 wins and 96 losses.

Will Hardy Contract

In 2022, Will Hardy signed a four-year initial contract with the Utah Jazz, including a team option for a fifth season. The Jazz exercised this option, extending his contract to keep him as head coach through the 2026–27 season as per the NBA's official website. Utah Jazz CEO, Danny Ainge, said on the NBA's website,

We love the direction he is (going). We love the teammate he is. He’s really excited this year to have a chance to develop these young players. We’re excited he’s a part of us.”
