Will Hardy, the head coach of the Utah Jazz, was born on January 21, 1988. He became the ninth head coach of the Utah Jazz in June 2022. He started off with the San Antonio Spurs as an intern in basketball operations (2010), then was raised to assistant video coordinator (2011). Under Gregg Popovich, he was promoted to assistant coach for the 2016–2017 season.

Hardy spent 11 seasons (2010–2021) with the Spurs, making nine playoff appearances (2010–2019), two trips to the NBA Finals (2013 & 2014), and winning an NBA Championship (2014). After serving in San Antonio, he joined the Boston Celtics as an assistant coach in 2021-22, working under head coach Ime Udoka. He led the Celtics to their first NBA Finals appearance since 2010 during one season.
