With a professional MMA record of 30-9-0, Michael Bisping is popularly known for his time in the UFC. Raised in Lancashire, England, Bisping is one of the most proclaimed personalities in the history of MMA. He started his MMA journey at the age of eight by practicing jiu-jitsu. Initially, between 2004-2005 competing at local promotions like P&G 2, UKMMAC, CWFC, Cage Rage, and CWFC, “The count” accumulated a perfect 10-0 record.

Bisping was a contestant on UFC’s The Ultimate Fighter 3 in 2016. He went on to be the winner and earned the UFC contract by beating Josh Haynes in the finale. Due to frequent losses, he was reduced to a gatekeeper role in the promotion by the end of 2014, and even he was involved in other ventures like movies.

However, in 2016 Bisping accepted a short-notice fight against Luke Rockhold for the middleweight championship as Weidman picked up an injury. Bisping was a heavy underdog coming into the bout against a guy who had his number from the last time they fought. To everyone's surprise, he beat Rockhold by KO in round 1 and became the first-ever British champion in UFC history.

In March 2019, a year after his retirement, he was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame.
