Born February 10, 1995, Bobby Portis Jr. is an American professional basketball player. He is currently signed to the Milwaukee Bucks roster of the National Basketball Association (NBA).


Portis hails from Little Rock, Arkansas, U.S., and he attended Hall High School in Little Rock growing up. A decorated basketball player during his high school days, he was awarded McDonald's and Parade All-American awards. He was also named Mr. Basketball of Arkansas in 2013. He then went on to play college basketball for the Arkansas Razorbacks. Portis averaged 12.3 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks per game as a freshman and 17.5 points, 8.9 rebounds, 1.4 blocks, 1.2 assists, and 1.1 steals per game in his second and final season with them. During that time, he was named to the Southeastern Conference All-Freshman team and second-team All-SEC.


Drafted by the Chicago Bulls in the 2015 NBA draft with their 22nd, Portis made his NBA debut on November 3, 2015, against the Charlotte Hornets.
