Born in Khartoum, Sudan, Bol Bol's family left their home country to pursue a more promising and fulfilling life in the United States and settled in Olathe, Kansas. He trained with his father in his early years and learned the essential aspects of the sport that went on to define his on-court successes later on.

Fuelled with potential, Bol Bol developed his skill set and steadily became a popular high school athlete nationwide over the course of his sophomore season. By the time he transferred to Findlay Prep from Mater Dei High School, Bol Bol had developed into a bonafide star with his name rising up the rankings.

After a short but promising freshman season in college, Bol Bol got picked 44th overall by the Denver Nuggets in 2019. The five-year veteran has since played for the Nuggets, the Orlando Magic, and now the Phoenix Suns.
