Lester Quinones is a Dominican-American professional basketball player who plays for the Golden State Warriors. Born on November 16, 2000, Quinones honed his basketball skills while playing for multiple high schools. Some of the high schools he attended include Upper Room Christian School, St. Benedict's Preparatory School and Brentwood High School.

For college, Quinones committed to play for the Memphis Tigers. During his time with the Tigers, he was coached by NBA legend Penny Hardaway. Eventually, he earned recognition by being named to the American Athletic Conference All-Freshman Team.

Although he was born in the United States, Quinones represents the Dominican Republic at the international level. He has played in multiple international tournaments as a part of the Dominican Republic National team including the FIBA U18 Americas Championship.

In 37 games in the 2023/24 season, Quinones averaged 4.4 points and 1.9 rebounds per game.

After a successful high school and collegiate career, Quinones declared for the NBA Draft in 2022. Despite going undrafted, he signed a two-way contract with the Golden State Warriors.

After impressing in the Summer League, Quinones started playing for the Warrior’s G League affiliate the Santa Cruz Warriors. His standout performances with the Santa Cruz Warriors later led him to sign a 10-day contract with the Golden State Warriors.

After being re-acquired by the Warriors’ G League team, Quinones was named the G-League’s Most Improved Player. He then signed a second two-way contract with the Dubs and is now on a standard NBA contract.
