Bo Nix’s arrival finally saw the Denver Broncos heading to the playoffs last year after an eight-season hiatus. It took almost a decade to find the successor to Peyton Manning, but Nix, along with head coach Sean Payton, finally brought postseason football back to Mile High City. However, the difficult part comes next, i.e., not only maintaining the present success but also taking it further by going deep into the playoffs.

What is the Denver Broncos' depth chart for 2025-26?

The Broncos' full offseason revolved around making the lives of AFC West quarterbacks difficult, as evidenced by their pursuit of defensive players in both free agency and the draft. After finishing 7th in total defense in 2024 (as per FOX Sports), the Broncos did not shy away from doubling down on their strength, adding big-name free agents in linebacker Dre Greenlaw and safety Talanoa Hufanga.

However, Denver’s quest to become elite on the defensive side of the ball did not stop at free agency, as they also got a partner to pair with Patrick Surtain II on the outside. They added cornerback Jahdae Barron in the first round of the 2025 NFL draft. However, it wasn’t until the second round of the draft that the Broncos filled their most pressing need in the backfield by picking running back RJ Harvey.
