JJ Pegues NIL Deals

JJ Pegues is a former collegiate defensive tackle who represented Auburn and Ole Miss from 2020 to 2024. Pegues is one of the draft prospects in the 2025 NFL draft. The Oxford, Mississipi native (as per NFL’s official website) finished his secondary education at Oxford High School, where he played football under Coach Chris Cutcliffe’s tutelage, as reported by the Auburn Tigers official website. Pegues was a two-sport athlete in high school, playing both football and basketball.

Revisiting his collegiate career, JJ Pegues played 38 games for the Rebels in three years. The University of Mississippi product started his post-high school football career at Auburn University in 2020. He stayed there for 2 years, during which he accounted for 16 total tackles and 2 tackles for loss. After transferring to Ole Miss, JJ’s production saw quite an uprise compared to his Auburn production. Pegues played 38 games in a Rebels jersey and concluded his Ole Miss tenure by tallying 110 total tackles, 10 sacks, and 27 tackles for loss in 3 years. Pegues earned a 74.6 grade from Pro Football Focus (PFF) for his 2024 season campaign. According to Pro Football Focus, Pegues lined up for the majority of his snaps in the B GAP during his time at the University of Mississippi.
