Nick Bosa, a defensive end for the San Francisco 49ers, was born on October 23, 1997. He was drafted by the team as the second pick in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He led his club to Super Bowl LIV and was named NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year. He was named the 2022 NFL Defensive Player of the Year. He was also named for the Pro Bowl four times in 2019, 2021, 2022, and 2023.

Bosa is the younger brother of Joey Bosa, a linebacker for the Los Angeles Chargers, and the son of former NFL defensive end John Bosa. Three years after Joey Bosa, he was named the AP NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year. He suffered an ACL tear in the second game of the 2020 season and was sidelined for the remainder of the year. According to Pro Football Reference, he has played in 80 games, recording 253 combined tackles, including 178 solo and 75 assists, two interceptions, and 60.5 sacks, as of December 2024.

He sacked Aaron Rodgers once during the 37-20 victory over the Green Bay Packers in the 2019 NFC Championship. He recorded a strip sack on Patrick Mahomes during the 31-20 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIV. On the NFL Top 100 Players of 2020 list, his teammates ranked him 17th.

Bosa earned two sacks in the 2023 NFC Championship victory over the Lions. He recorded three quarterback hits and six tackles in the Chiefs' 25-22 overtime loss in Super Bowl LVIII.

Nick Bosa recorded one sack and four tackles in 2019, helping the San Francisco 49ers defeat the Green Bay Packers 37-20. In the 2021 Championship, he recorded 1.5 sacks and 6 tackles, but the 49ers lost to the Los Angeles Rams 20-17. His four tackles were insufficient in 2022 as the 49ers fell to the Philadelphia Eagles 31-7.
