Tom Brady’s mother Galynn Patricia Brady has been one of his greatest sources of strength in his long football career. She was born in Browerville, Minnesota and has German, Swedish, Norwegian and Polish ancestry. Tom Brady has cited his mother as one of the greatest inspirations behind his strength as she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016 and overcame it. She underwent chemotherapy and was declared free of cancer soon after Brady won his fifth Super Bowl (Super Bowl LI).
Tom Brady's mother along with his father has been a constant supporter in his games. On Mother's Day in 2023, Tom Brady also posted a heartfelt message for his mother on Instagram where he credited her compassion and kindness.
