Reggie Jackson is an American professional basketball player who plays a point guard for the Detroit Pistons of the NBA. He attended Boston College. Reggie was drafted by the Oklahoma City Thunder with the 24th pick in the 2011 NBA Draft.
In his freshman year, he was mostly used off the bench but got a starting role in his sophomore year, in his junior year he led the Eagles in scoring and earned first-team All-ACC honors.
Jackson was given limited playing time in his rookie season, averaging just 11.1 minutes over 45 games. On February 19, 2015, he was traded to the Detroit Pistons as part of a three-way trade that also involved the Utah Jazz.
On his debut for Pistons, he scored 17 points, 5 assists, and 5 rebounds against the Washington Wizards. Jackson scored a career-high 40 points against the Portland Trail Blazers. He won the Eastern Conference Player of the Week award twice during the 2015-16 season.
During the 2016-17 season, he missed 21 games because of left knee tendinitis, he made his season debut for the Pistons on December 4, scoring 18 points in 23 minutes against the Orlando Magic, On March 6, 2017, and he scored 24 of his 26 points in the second half of the Pistons' 109–95 win over the Chicago Bulls. He made all 10 of his field goal attempts after halftime.
