Coco Gauff (full name Cori Dionne Gauff) is a professional tennis player who represents the USA in the WTA tour. She is currently ranked No. 2 in the world in singles and No. 12 in the doubles category. She has won seven singles and nine doubles titles to date, which include winning the 2023 Cincinnati Open, defeating Iga Świątek in the semifinals and Karolina Muchova in the finals.
Coco Gauff also won the 2023 Miami Open doubles title with Jessica Pegula, defeating the team of Leylah Fernandez and Taylor Townsend in the final and becoming the first all-American duo to do so in 22 years. Gauff's career's first big achievement came in the first round of Wimbledon in 2019 when she defeated her role model, Venus Williams, in straight sets. Since then, she has achieved a lot of success and is currently one of the best players on the WTA tour.
Fast forward to 2023, she won her first Grand Slam title at the US Open, defeating Aryna Sabalenka in the final.
