Thomas Karl Johan Enqvist is a former tennis player from Sweden who achieved a career-high ranking of world No. 4 on November 15, 1999. He has won 19 ATP singles tour titles, including three ATP Masters 1000 tournaments. To win the Masters 1000 tournament at Stuttgart in 1999, Enqvist defeated four top 10 players, including former world No. 1 Andre Agassi. Enqvist finished runner-up at the 1999 Australian Open, where Yevgeny Kafelnikov defeated him in four sets.

Enqvist won at least one ATP singles title for six straight years and finished inside the ATP top 10 in four seasons. Some highlights of Enqvist’s career include wins over former world No. 1 Pete Sampras, Andy Roddick, and Juan Carlos Ferrero.

At the international level, Enqvist helped Sweden reach the finals of the Davis Cup four times in five years. He is currently the vice-captain of Team Europe at the Laver Cup. and has also been serving as the provisional coach for Stefanos Tsitsipas since February 2022.
