Bradley Beal, a basketball shooting guard for the Phoenix Suns, was born on June 28, 1993. The Missouri native went to Chaminade College Preparatory School, after which he attended the University of Florida in 2011-12. He was named first-team All-SEC in his freshman year and SEC Freshman of the Week, among other honors. He finished the season with a 14.8-point average. In the 2012 NBA Draft, he was selected by the Washington Wizards with the third overall pick in the first rounds. He was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team in 2013, the All-NBA Third Team in 2021, and also a three-time NBA All-Star in 2018, 2019 and 2021.

After 11 seasons, the Washington Wizards traded Beal to the Suns in June 2023. In exchange for Chris Paul, Landry Shamet, six second-round picks, and four first-round pick swaps, the Washington Wizards sent Beal, Jordan Goodwin, and Isaiah Todd to the Phoenix Suns. In over 12 seasons of his NBA career, he has played in 748 games, starting 714, and averaging 21.9 points, 4.3 assists and 4.1 rebounds. He led the league, setting his career high too, consecutively in 2017 and 2018, playing and starting 82 games each. Further, he also played an average of 36.9 minutes in the 2018 season, another league-high.
