Daeqwon Plowden is an American professional basketball player who plays at the Shooting Guard/ Small Forward position for the College Park Skyhawks in the NBA G-League. He stands at 6 feet and 6 inches tall and was born in Philadelphia. He attended Mastery Charter North High School in Pennsylvania and became the school’s first 1,000-point scorer and was also selected twice for the state team.

He decided to attend Bowling Green State University and was there from 2017 to 2022, where he was named to the All-Mid-American Conference (MAC) second team in 2020 and was also selected into the MAC All-Defensive team in 2022. He averaged 10.5 points, 6.1 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game throughout his college career as per Sports Reference. He then declared for the 2022 NBA Draft but was not selected. He then joined the New Orleans Pelicans in the 2022 NBA Summer League but was later waived. Following this, he joined the Birmingham Squadron of the NBA G-League, the affiliate team of the New Orleans Pelicans.
