Jermaine Samuels Jr. is an American professional basketball power forward for the Rio Grande Valley Snipers in the NBA's G-League. Samuel Jr. signed with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants in the NBA G-League after he went undrafted in the 2022 NBA Draft. However, the next season in August 2023, Samuels Jr. signed a two-way contract with the Houston Rockets. In July 2024, Samuels signed a contract with the Houston Rockets, but he was waived by the Rockets in October 2024. As of April 2025, Samuels Jr. has played 22 games and averaged 1.4 points and 0.9 rebounds per game. Samuel Jr. signed with the Vipers in the NBA G League in October 2024.

Before joining the NBA, Samuels Jr. went to Villanova University and played for the Villanova Wildcats men's basketball team from 2017 to 2022. After the senior season, he rejoined his college team for a fifth season of eligibility. According to his college profile, Samuels Jr. finished his career with 1,296 points and 790 rebounds in 153 games. He earned the Most Outstanding Player award at the NCAA South Regional and won the 2018 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship Game during his freshman season.
