After high school, he was unranked but received several offers to play college basketball. He finally decided to join the University of South Carolina. He completed all four years of college at South Carolina and later transferred to Providence College for his graduate season, where he averaged 6.5 points per game and was a regular in the starting lineup. He declared for the 2022 NBA Draft but was unfortunately not drafted.
