Justin Minaya is a professional basketball player who was born on March 26, 1999, in Harrington Park, New Jersey. He is 6 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 210 pounds. Minaya played college basketball at South Carolina and Providence and was noted for his performance. He was not selected in the 2022 NBA Draft but was signed by Mexico City Capitanes for the NBA G League 2022-23 season and later joined the Portland Trail Blazers as a two-way player.

Minaya is the son of Omar Minaya, a Major League Baseball (MLB) executive, who works as the special assistant to the New York Yankees General Manager. Minaya also played nationally for the Dominican Republic in the 2015 Centrobasket U17 Championship for men and the 2016 FIBA Under-17 World Championship. Able to play on both offense and defense, Minaya is refining his skills with the Trail Blazers and their G League team, Rip City Remix. As of December 2024, Minaya played in 39 games for the Portland Trailblazers and averaged 2.0 points and 1.8 rebounds per game coming off the bench.

He declared for the 2022 NBA Draft but was unfortunately not drafted.
