Neemias Esdras Barbosa Queta is a professional basketball player. As of October 2024, he is playing for the Boston Celtics and played the Maine Celtics in the NBA G League during the 2023-2024 season. He was selected by the Sacramento Kings as the 39th overall pick in the second round of the 2021 NBA Draft. He also played for the Stockton Kings in the NBA G League from 2021 to 2023.

Queta signed a two-way contract with the Celtics on September 19, 2024. As of October 2024, he has played a total of 48 games, scoring 211 points, grabbing 164 rebounds, and blocking 31 shots. His jersey number is 88 with the Celtics. Queta won an NBA Championship in 2024.

Neemias Queta holds Portuguese nationality. Before making his debut in the NBA league, he played youth basketball for the Barreirense Basket, a club from Barreiro, Portugal, from 2009 to 2017. He also played for Sport Lisboa e Benfica, a team from Lisbon, Portugal, in the Portuguese Basketball League in the 2017-2018 season. Queta has also played for the Portuguese basketball team at various levels. At the 2019 FIBA U20 European Championship in Portugal, Queta guided the host nation to a gold medal while averaging 14.3 points, 11 rebounds, and two blocks per game

Neemias Queta was born on July 13, 1999, in Lisbon, Portugal. His parents, Mica and Djaneuba Queta, are originally from Guinea-Bissau. He started playing basketball at the age of 10 and later signed with the Utah State Aggies men's basketball team at Utah State University in the U.S. He forwent his college eligibility after his junior year on March 29, 2021, and declared for the NBA Draft that same year.

Neemias Queta's hometown is Vale da Amoreira in the municipality of Moita. He represented his country in the 2017 FIBA Under-18 and the 2018 FIBA Under-20 European Championship Division B in Estonia and Bulgaria, respectively. In 2019, he won a gold medal at the FIBA Under 20 European Championship Division B in Portugal.
