Prosper was drafted 24th overall by the Sacramento Kings in the 1st round of the 2023 NBA Draft. He was subsequently traded to the Dallas Mavericks, where he was sent to play for the Texas Legends in the G-League in order to hone his skills. He averaged 3.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 0.6 assists per game as a backup option in the 2023-24 season.
