In 79 games for the Dallas Mavericks and the Nets combined in the 2022/23 season, Dinwiddie averaged 17.3 points, 3.4 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game. He shot 43.8% from the field, including 36.9% from deep.

Alongside a talented young roster including the likes of Mikal Bridges and Cam Thomas, Dinwiddie and the Nets will be looking for a playoff push in 2024.

During the 2016 offseason, the team traded him to the Chicago Bulls in return for Cameron Bairstow, who waived his contract twice.

Brooklyn Nets (2016-2021, 2023 - Present)

Spencer Dinwidde first joined the Brooklyn Nets in the 2016/17 season. Throughout his seven seasons with the team, he has played 305 games so far. He has averaged 14.5 points, 3.1 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game. He has shot 41.7% from the field, including 32.5% from deep.

During his first tenure with the team, Dinwiddie won the Skills Challenge at the All-Star Weekend in the 2017/18 season. The 2019/20 season is Dinwiddie’s best till date, as he averaged 20.6 points and 6.8 assists per game for the Nets.

After just over a season with the Mavs, Dinwiddie returned to the Nets in the 2022/23 season, in a trade involving Markieff Morris and Kyrie Irving.

Washington Wizards (2021-2022)

Spencer Dinwiddie was traded to the Wizards by the Nets through a sign and trade deal with five teams in the 2021 offseason. In his solo season in Washington, Dinwiddie played 44 games and averaged 12.6 points, 4.7 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game. He shot 37.6% from the field, including 31.0% from deep. During the 2021/22 season, he was traded to the Mavs in exchange for Kristaps Porzingis and a protected 2022 second round pick.

Dallas Mavericks (2022-2023)

Throughout two seasons with the Dallas Mavericks, Dinwiddie played 76 games, averaging 17.1 points, 3.1 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game. He shot 46.6% from the field, including 40.4% from deep.
