Jalen Oluwaseun Isaiah Milroe is a former collegiate football quarterback for the Alabama Crimson Tide. Milroe began his football career at Tompkins High School, where he threw for 2,689 yards and 29 touchdowns during his junior year. He concluded his high school career with 3,825 passing yards, 559 rushing yards, and 53 total touchdowns. Milroe was rated a four-star prospect and initially committed to joining Texas but changed his commitment to start his college career with Alabama Crimson Tide. He also received offers from top programs like Arkansas, Arizona State, Baylor, Duke, Florida State, Houston, Ole Miss, Oregon, Nebraska, Texas A&M, and Texas among others. In his freshman season, Milroe appeared in only four games and redshirted in 2021. As a redshirt freshman in 2022, Milroe returned to serve as the backup quarterback and played in only eight games. During the year, he recorded 297 passing yards with five touchdowns and three interceptions. Milroe had a breakthrough campaign in 2023 when he was named the starting quarterback and played in all 13 games. He was one of the team captains and recorded 2,834 passing yards with 23 touchdowns and six interceptions. In 2024, Milroe returned as the starting quarterback for the Tide for the second successive year and was one of the permanent team captains. He threw for 2,652 yards and 15 scores on 189 carries with 10 interceptions. In the 2024 season, Milroe was regarded as one of the top quarterbacks in college football and started in all 12 games for the Crimson Tide. Jalen Milroe's eligibility

According to Alabama Crimson Tide's official website, Jalen Milroe was classified as a redshirt junior for the 2024 NCAA season. Even though Milroe has declared himself for the 2025 NFL Draft, there is a technical chance (unlikely) he could go undrafted. In that case, Milroe could retain his collegiate eligibility and technically return to Alabama for his senior year in the 2025 NCAA season. Since he was a redshirt junior in 2024, Milroe will have two years of eligibility as a senior and graduate student should his return go through.
